Evelyn Perez-Verdia is a consultant and media contributor known for her straight forward style and in-depth understanding of the political cultural landscape. Her clients have included elections offices, local, state, federal and presidential campaigns. She has also served on numerous nonprofits focused on Latinos and diversity.
From 2008-2016 Evelyn was the communications consultant and bilingual spokeswoman for the 16th largest elections office in the United States (Broward County, Florida) handling state, national and international media.
She also started her consulting firm Transnational Relations’ in 2007. From 2004-2007 Evelyn worked in the U.S. Federal Government as a Federal Caseworker and Congressional Assistant for U.S. Congressman Jim Davis (FL). Evelyn also assisted with communications in his race for Florida Governor helping him win the Hispanic vote in Florida, the first time a statewide Democrat had done so since 1996. In 2003 she was a program and focus group coordinator for the Florida Institute for Community Studies where she conducted focus groups with migrant women and youth.
